Just another couple of hours and Sue and I should be on board our Alaska Airlines flight, ready to wing our way to Lihue, Kauai (Hawaii). The sky here is grey and overcast, but none of that snow that those in the eastern states and Canada are dealing with... Having checked out the long-range weather forecast for Kauai, it looks as though there might be overcast skies, as well as rain, for the first few days, but the temps. should be pleasantly warm - hot??!
Right now we're relaxing in the calm and comfortable surroundings of the Alaska Airlines 'Board Room' - without having to attend a board meeting! (The 'Board Room' is the 'exclusive' Alaska Airlines lounge, for which I somehow received two complimentary passes....much appreciated by us both. Must stop now and go in search of a complimentary drink to go with the freebie munchies we've been enjoying!! Stay tuned for more news anon....
